Yes, you read the title of this post right. Thunder Basketball returns next week.
(But you just know there’s going to be a twist.)
To be more specific, Thunder Youth Basketball will hit local courts starting Monday. Our first camp is at Mid-America Christian University in southwest OKC. We’re holding a total of six week-long camps this summer throughout the metro, and a couple of them are filling up fast.
Our spring break camp was one of the largest we’ve seen, with about 120 kids spread out over three basketball courts to learn the fundamentals, both of basketball and of character. Take a look at the photos, video and story we posted about one of the days at camp. Whether or not you have a child who’d be interested in our summer camps, it’s worth checking out to get a feel for what the fine line between organization and chaos looks like.
